    Hey Dave,

Thanks for sharing, never heard of rescue time but I'm also a fan of Tim Ferris. I like your tips about holding the big picture in mind. I recently read an article at think simple now about productivity about adjusting from a time based system to a completion system where reward come after tasks or project are done instead of simply rewarding based on a specific amount of time spent. Here's the link: http://thinksimplenow.com/productivity/the-4-ho...

Thought you mind find this read worthwhile. :) Cheers!

Great stuff. Love the tips to increase your productivity, specially #7, stay positive by thinking long term. A lot of the talk on personal productivity often misses attitude as a key aspect of achieving goals and overall doing more. I would also add to the list "Wake up early". This is one of the biggest productivity boosts that one could get, not sure why but people who raise early usually have more time during the day. Specially, more time before lunch, which for most people is the most productive section of their day.

I love your techniques, especially the first one: Put yourself in the right environment. With work that are done at home, it is very difficult to finish the assigned tasks on time. Now, I can understand why, at home where the computer is so near the bed one is inclined to rest after every hour of work in the computer, also, with the food within your reach, it's so easy to spend time eating than working. The environment is truly a crucial factor to consider for productivity.
