What other kind of certification do you recomment?
  • drigotti · 6 months ago
    Aansa -
There is also a certification program for Yahoo! called "Ambassador." I would get the Google certification first. Good luck!

It's good to read all of the information you can get your hands on from blogs and forums and then start to experiment yourself by trial and error.

Good tips, especially the bit about conferences and becoming a google qualified individual.... For the latter-- most would be surprised how fast you can spend 1,000 dollars in adwords. I just recently started and once companies see the increased traffic they get from a ppc campaign they're more and more comfortable jumping that virtual hurdle and throwing more and more money at internet marketing.

Thank you for the post. Volunteering to run the search marketing for a local non-profit business is a great idea. Cheers

I started educating myself on SEO to promote my own site. I have learned a lot and got my site on page one for many keywords. I am now asked to help others and might pursue some contract work in SEO. Thanks for the helpful resource.

There's a lot to learn and to do, but it sure is worth.
I will start with reading the right blogs and see what can i get from there, then see what happens.

Thanks for the info, very useful, at least to me...
